70 additional jobs will appear at the Shakhty enterprise

Andrey Kovalev, Head of the Shakhty administration, had a business visit to a ceramic tile production plant, Shakhty Ceramics LLC.

He inspected recreation rooms for employees, visited a dining room where employees can have lunch or reheat food they bring from home. Then, the leadership of the plant, an administrative director Igor Nepravda and production director Sergey Ilyin, took the head of the administration to production departments where showed him the whole process of ceramic tile production. For the record, the market is pretty big and covers the whole territory of Russia and CIS countries. Our plans also include European market.

— "This enterprise is the largest taxpayer," the head of administration said. "The city receives around two million roubles every month." At the moment, 1300 people work at Shakhty Ceramics LLC, most of them are residents of Shakhty. Today, we saw that the leadership pays much attention to social conditions that include recreation rooms, dining rooms and, of course, decent wage level. The wage level here is quite high compared to other enterprises.

According to Andrey Kovalev, Shakhty Ceramics LLC is a city-forming enterprise. The task of the Shakhty administration and Government of the Rostov Region is to further the city’s development. The new line of ceramic tile production will be launched in the nearest future. We will work on modern products that will bring the development of the sales market, 70 new workplaces, and the stability of the enterprise. Expansion of production will allow paying more taxes thus the Shakhty administration will be able to send additional financial resources on the implementation of social programs.

Sergey Ilyin, Production Director of Shakhty Ceramics LLC, says,

— "The market of ceramic tile production develops in two directions - in small and large formats. We have started a new line of small format for glazed porcelain tile production that simulates any surface and can be used as facade tile and simulation of brick. It's a new direction with the production capacity of around one million square meters per year; 45 people serve this new line. Products are being sold, they are in high demand, and we receive orders six months in advance. Our distribution network is located throughout Russia - Vladivostok, Volga region, Moscow, North Caucasus, and the Ural. We will certainly work on export as well.
